Welcome

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) and the Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Society (TUPRA), it is my distinct pleasure to invite you to the IUGA Regional Symposium held in conjunction with the 12th National Congress of Urogynecology, to be held on November 5–7, 2026, in Istanbul, Turkiye.

This joint international meeting aims to provide a comprehensive scientific forum dedicated to the most recent advances and evolving concepts in urogynecology, pelvic floor medicine, and reconstructive pelvic surgery. The congress will bring together leading clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, share clinical experience, and discuss current evidence and future perspectives in women’s pelvic health.

The scientific program has been carefully designed to promote high-level academic interaction through keynote lectures, expert panels, multidisciplinary discussions, surgical education sessions, and interactive case-based learning. Major topics will include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor imaging, minimally invasive and reconstructive surgery, menopause and the genitourinary syndrome of menopause, female sexual health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, neuromodulation, and emerging technologies shaping the future of urogynecology.

As a city uniquely positioned between Europe and Asia, Istanbul offers an inspiring environment for scientific collaboration and international exchange, enriched by its remarkable cultural and historical heritage.

We sincerely hope that you will honor us with your participation and contribute to the scientific success of this important meeting. We look forward to welcoming you to Istanbul for an outstanding congress marked by academic excellence, collegiality, and international collaboration.

With kind regards,
